App Usage Policy

By using Promoly, you agree to our terms of service. Our app is designed to automate your pricing and subscription flows within the Shopify ecosystem.

• We do not collect customer personal data unless necessary for the app to function.
• We use Shopify's official APIs for all data interactions.
• You are responsible for ensuring your discount strategies comply with local laws.

Return & Refund Policy

Since Promoly provides a digital service with a free trial, we generally do not offer refunds once a billing cycle has completed.

However, if you encounter technical issues that we cannot resolve, please contact our support team within 7 days of the charge for a partial refund review.

Data Privacy & Protection

1. Data Collection & Usage

To provide subscription management features, we collect and store the following Protected Customer Data:

• Customer Name, Email, & Phone: Used to identify subscribers and allow merchants to manage their contracts.
• Shipping Address: Used to display location context for subscription deliveries.
• Order History (Aggregate): Used to calculate lifetime value and total spend metrics.

2. Data Security

We employ industry-standard security measures to protect your data:

• Encryption in Transit: All data transmitted between Shopify and our servers is encrypted using TLS 1.2+ (HTTPS).
• Encryption at Rest: Data stored in our databases is encrypted using standard volume encryption.
• Access Control: Access to personal data is restricted to authorized personnel via secure SSH keys and multi-factor authentication.

3. Data Retention & Deletion

App Uninstall: Upon uninstallation of Promoly, all personal data associated with your shop (Customers, Orders, Subscriptions) is permanently deleted from our databases immediately.

GDPR/CCPA Requests: We fully support Shopify's mandatory webhooks for data redaction (`customers/redact`, `shop/redact`). When we receive a request, the specified data is removed within 30 days.
